Cocoa Beach Photography is a photography service owned and operated by Michael
Howard Photography.
I was born here in Cocoa Beach back in 1961 and I was growing up on the beach
here on the Space Coast near the Kennedy Space Center when rockets first started
to fly into space. In fact, the first photograph I took was in 1969 of the
Apollo 11 launch to the moon on my dads Nikon. I guess I have never lost
that desire for photography. With my love for this area and the beach, I
try to bring to my photography a bit of this life that I love and love to share
with others.

Mike
is a native and life-long resident of Florida's Space Coast (Cape
Canaveral and Cocoa Beach).
He
took his first photo at age 8 of the 1969 launch of Apollo 11 on its way
to the moon. That's young Mike in the yellow circle at the
lower right.
That
photograph launched Mike's love affair with the camera that led to his
career as a professional photographer. That same rocket was carrying
Astronaut Buzz Aldrin and a copy of the Prayer for Protection
which is featured in our video, just one example of the synchronicities at
work in bringing this project together.

Mike's
stunning photos are the basis for the Prayer Video. Mike also wrote
the inspired verses for the "Sails of the Spirit Motivationals"
Mike supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation, and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
More About Me
I have 16 years of professional photographic printing experience with film
and digital medias and to this
day still work professionally with a local photographic digital lab as a
technical assistant. I have
offered photography and wedding services in the Cocoa Beach area since 1998 and in 2004 I became
a Wedding Officiant offering simple and yet personal wedding ceremonies.
I hope that as you look at my photographic samples, you will see that
I strive to capture the feel of a beach wedding or family portrait and the joy
that the memory that it can bring . I will work hard to bring you the best
